Bryn is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned her degree in psychology while developing a deep passion for holistic healthcare. With three years of experience as a chiropractic assistant, she has honed her skills in patient care, office efficiency, and treatment support, always striving to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and well-cared for.
Raised in Waco, Texas, Bryn has always been committed to her community. She loves that her work allows her to help individuals achieve better health through natural and effective treatments. Whether it’s assisting with chiropractic exams and x-rays, guiding patients through exercises, or providing education on traction, Bryn is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
Outside of her professional life, Bryn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and staying active. She is passionate about continuous learning in the healthcare field and looks forward to expanding her knowledge to better serve her community.

Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Christy Porterfield Flick, DC
A pivotal life experience introduced me to my life’s work: helping others to regain their health, and, with it, their hope and zest for life.
I was first introduced to Upper Cervical Chiropractic through my oldest son, Taylor, who had terrible ear infections that were treated with one antibiotic treatment after another. It was a chiropractic adjustment of his Atlas vertebra that finally gave us resolution- in fact, after his first adjustment he never had another ear infection, and, after months of searching for a solution, it was a small health miracle for our family.
The gratefulness of this life experience caused me to fall in love with Chiropractic and I immediately embarked on the journey to become a Chiropractor. In January of 2005 I graduated from Parker University with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Since then, I’ve been practicing in the Dallas area and helping many, many patients with Corrective Upper Cervical Chiropractic care. After practicing the Orthospinology technique for over a decade, I received my Certification in Orthospinology in 2020.
In 2023 I felt a calling to move to Waco and be closer to my family. With this move came the founding of Atlas Chiropractic. Atlas Chiropractic exists for only one purpose: to help you. We are simply the people who help. We have real solutions to many health problems that our neighbors have suffered with, without hope, sometimes for years.

She is a gifted doctor and a real God-send. My back had given me problems for over twenty years. I had seen many chiropractors, medical doctors, physical therapists, etc. but could never get lasting relief. When the pain and spasms occurred the only remedy was to take pain pills and go to bed.
I had heard about the amazing work done by Dr. Flick. After X-rays, tests, and in-depth analysis, the SOURCE of my back problem was diagnosed. After the first adjustment, the spasms began to subside. Now, with regularly-scheduled Chiropractic adjustments, and back-strengthening exercises, my back issues are minimized. When I overdo, and achiness arises, the pain is very manageable. I have no need for heavy-duty pain pills.
